HopeTree offers Christian, community-integrated group home to adults with developmental disabilities homes throughout Virginia. All HopeTree DDM homes have private, single occupancy bedrooms, and individuals are encouraged to use their belongings to make the room a comfortable place to live. Other areas of the home are common areas used by all residents and staff. DDM staff provide assistance, supervision, and training in areas related to employment, personal care, general housekeeping, living skills, social skills, and community integration. Residents can attend churches within their communities, are encouraged to work where appropriate, and volunteer to help others. In the event that these daily activities are not available or workable for an individual, alternative plans are made with the individual. Transportation is provided or arranged by DDM staff. Medical/Health needs and appointments are managed by the DDM staff according to health professional orders and advice.
