The Women's Center provides counseling services, domestic violence & sexual assault services, education & career services, and therapist training. Counseling services include individual, couples, & family counseling and support & therapy groups for adults and children of all ages. The Women's Center offers two types of groups: support and therapy. The goal of a therapy group is to aid individuals in processing various experiences or symptoms, allowing them to learn alternative ways of coping, relating or being. In contrast, the goal of a support group is to provide individuals with a setting in which they are united with others who share certain life experiences. The Women's Center has professional therapists and advocates who have experience supporting survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. Services include Emotional Support & Counseling, Information & Referral, Victim Advocacy, Crisis Intervention, and Support Groups. The Women's Center meets the diverse psychological needs of women, men, children, couples, and families of all ages. They offer sessions in both English and Spanish. The Women's Center provides services to people in need regardless of their ability to pay for them.
