Myra is portrayed optimiste person in story day of butterfly justify the statement by mentioning TWO incidences
Alice Monroe's Butterfly Day themed around isolation, commitment, connection, betrayal, appearance and friendship.
The story, taken from her Happy Shadows Dance collection, is told in first person by a female narrator named Helen, who recalls her sixth grade. What's really surprising at the beginning of the story is that Munro seems to explore themes of isolation and devotion. Jimmy and Myra are side by side (or isolated) in relation to other kids at school. Because Jimmy feels ashamed that he urinates occasionally, and because Myra feels obligated to take care of her younger brother instead of playing with classmates during recess. Also striking at the beginning of the story is the devotion Myra shows to Jimmy. She never leaves him at any stage or thinks about her needs. Rather, Jimmy is at the center of Myra's attention, and she sees herself as his only guardian anyway. Also, when Helen describes Jimmy and Myra as "small figures carved out of wood" and "smooth, aged-looking faces," Munro suggests that Jimmy and Myra are different from the other kids at school. . What becomes clearer to the reader later in the story after Miss Darling tells the class to play with Myra. It is noticeable that the class led by Gladys Healy mocks Myra instead. This in turn leads to further containment of Myra (and Jimmy).

essay describe a time when you dealt with someone who was difficult. how did you handle that situation? what would you do differently if you could do it over again?
When I was in high school, my class entrusted the responsibility of heading the interclass drama competition to me. My team and I have been training to the maximum, but there is someone who is very difficult to work with. He is the main character of the drama that my class showed. Therefore he became arrogant, and everyone had to follow his will. Otherwise, he threatened not to continue training and to resign as the main character.
One day before the show, the main character did not want to wear a makeshift costume. He wanted the nice costumes he used to rent out. Because there were no funds and the main character did not want to budge, one class was confused, and some even cried, including the main character. He was shunned by one class and sat alone. Many of my friends have persuaded him to want to wear the costumes that have been provided. But all efforts ended in failure, and no one wanted to persuade him anymore.
I thought if this continued it wouldn't work. Therefore, I tried to sit down and approach him. First, I pretend to ask what happened by showing empathy and sympathy. Despite his arrogant nature, when someone sympathizes with him, he opens up and shares what he wants.
Slowly and carefully, I say that our class has no money. He was beginning to understand but still wasn't willing to change his decision. I went back to coaxing him again, because our class really didn't have the funds. Finally, he wanted to wear the existing costume in various conditions. Namely, the addition of accessories that make the costume look colorful and not too simple.
After that, I talked to my classmates about the properties of the costume. They agreed to make inexpensive handicrafts such as crowns and necklaces. Finally, there was an agreement between the two. Dealing with someone who is arrogant is indeed difficult. It takes intelligence to think about it. If I faced a similar situation, I would ask him to rent a costume with his personal money only. As a result, there is no need to bother the whole class.
