Not everyone is able to complete 25 sit ups. Even if they complete 10, they are still getting activity. Being fit is important but I think the purpose of Gym is to get your heart pumping. I do agree that Physical Education should be taken seriously, but grading people based on completion destroys the whole point of the "freedom" of having a class period to exercise.
