After reading an article in hisjournal to which he reported a series of accidents that occurred with the execution of radical sports, I felt responsible for showing my concern with this type of information and that is why I am writing you this letter.
The article to which I refer, only listed the fatal accidents that happened with the practice of these sports, however, the article considered the victims as irresponsible people in addition to pointing out that extreme sports are malefic and a "plague" for society.
This article, in addition to being disrespectful, is a disservice and an injustice, since extreme sports are passive to incidents, like any other type of physical activity. The article in question should have stated this, in addition to showing that there are several guidelines that must be taken to avoid incidences not only in extreme sports like any other sport.
In addition, the article discredits the benefits that physical activity through extreme sports offers to individuals and portrays the sport as a villain, and these sports are great examples of socialization, recreation and fun for countless people.
For this reason, I very much ask that a retraction be made on behalf of the entire sports scene in the country that was devalued with this article.
