Put in equation (1) , we get

Using formula [tex]a^\frac{m}{n} \times a^\frac{p}{q} = a^{\frac{m}{n} +\frac{p}{q} }[/tex]  

Equation (2) can be written as

                                       [tex]\sqrt{x} .\sqrt[4]{x}=x^{\frac{1}{2} +\frac{1}{4}}\\\\\sqrt{x} .\sqrt[4]{x}=x^{\frac{2+1}{4} }\\\\\sqrt{x} .\sqrt[4]{x}=x^{\frac{3}{4} }[/tex]

Hence , on simplification , we get  [tex]x^\frac{3}{4}[/tex] .
